Rapunzel

Macie is so funny and makes me laugh all the time, this morning she has been especially funny. I'm not sure if I'm just deleterious from lack of sleep or what. Yesterday I bought her a new Barbie doll, she sat with me for 2 hours at the doctor and was a perfect angel. We were at Kroger waiting on my prescriptions and we spotted a Barbie on clearance for 4$ (I can never pass up a good deal!) Anyway this morning she wanted to play dolls. She said I could play with the new Barbie and she was holding Merida and Rapunzel, or "Punzel" as she calls her, was naked as a jay bird and her hair is completely matted and a hot mess. After I saw the state Punzel was in Macie threw her on the ground. I said poor Punzel now you have a new doll and don't lover her anymore. Macie said no she's happy look she's smiling (the smile looked very forced to me, maybe she had too much Botox) Then she said never mind shes embarrassed because her hair is such a disaster. At this point I'm sure Punzel is contemplating suicide and has Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" running through her little plastic mind. It's hard to understand without being here, how it was so funny to me, it's just the way Macie says things. I asked her how she got so funny and she said "I just know a lot of jokes." I blame it in the Toy Story movies for me feeling bad about the mistreatment of toys. Those movies make me cry by the way, which I know is totally pathetic. When I was younger I prided myself on not crying. I cracked my head open on a fireplace and ended up needing staples, I never once cried and was so proud of that. Now I cry if I get a paper cut or watch a Publix commercial. I guess you get more emotional as you grow up. I'll never forget going to see the movie Paulie about a talking parrot and looking over and seeing my mom cry, I just couldn't understand what about a talking parrot could make you cry, now I find myself feeling sorry for Punzel and put her dress on her and tried to fix her hair. 

HAIR

Macie has been complaining about not having hair, and keeps asking me when its going to grow. Today i decided to let her borrow my hair to see what it will look like when it grows in. It is not very easy to style someone's hair with your own AND play photographer, so the pics arent that great but you get the idea.... Basically she will be gorgeous :)

So there ya go, what Macie will look like with hair, I am pretty impressed, she on the other hand, just really wanted to eat my hair.

First blog!!!!

Ok so i decided to start a blog about macie and me, and all the crazy things we do while trying to entertain ourselves at home. We get really bored and somewhat creative. Dont yell at me for spelling, grammar, or punctuation because most of the time, and right now, im typing with one hand. So macie is now almost 5 months old, i dont know why i didnt start sooner!
